This role will be based at the Lighthouse, the UK's first and England's only Child House, a unique multi-disciplinary service for children and young people who have experienced sexual abuse, within the Paediatric and Adolescent Division at UCLH. The role is a fixed-term post in line with Lighthouse funding until March 2025. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic and experienced operations manager in the NHS, with strong leadership skills in integrated multi-disciplinary team working. They will demonstrate a high degree of independence and adaptability to deal with the daily demands of the service and frequently changing priorities of the role, whilst also having the ability to see projects through in the required timescales. This role is a great opportunity for anyone with an interest in gaining experience in an innovative service at the forefront of testing new ways of working and integrating health, CAMHS, advocacy and criminal justice work to improve children and young people's health and justice outcomes. This role will be supporting the service in a critical phase of mapping its sustainability and implementing innovation projects, which a number of new staff are joining the service for on a temporary basis. In addition to the day-to-day running of a busy service, troubleshooting problems as they arise, maintaining and implementing monitoring systems and fulfilling reporting requirements, the Operations Manager will support the business intelligence team with the development and implementation of a business intelligence suite that meets the data needs of the service, adequate staff training and other associated requirements. This is a time-sensitive task and will be prioritised. In addition, the post holder will prioritise working with the Lighthouse Assistant General Manager and clinical teams to scope options for aligning Lighthouse systems, such as the Electronic Patient Record System, access to estates and facilities support, and others with UCLH.
