The Cancer Alliance supports cancer transformation work across the geography supporting the implementation of the NHS Long Term Plan, improving cancer services for people of the region. We are looking for a motivated and experienced project manager, registered nurse or allied health provider to implement and embed the Aspirant Cancer Career and Education Development Programme (ACCEND) across the geography of the cancer alliance. ACCEND has been developed nationally to provide transformational reform in the education, training and career pathways for cancer support workers, nurses and AHPs supporting people affected by cancer. You must have the right to work in the United Kingdom to apply for this position. We are unable to host a visa application. You will develop and support embedding a strategy for the implementation of ACCEND across the region. This role would be perfect for a senior NHS clinician with experience of working in roles within education and/or cancer services. Project management and delivery of new programmes would also be an asset. We will consider a secondment and job share.
