We have extensive training courses and assessments to learn a state of the art-triage tool called NHS Pathways. You must attend every training day. This is followed by a further eight weeks support before you're signed off as a fully accredited Pathways Health Advisor. As a Health Advisor, no day is the same. You will be fully trained on the NHS pathways system to assess patients over the phone and direct them to the most appropriate care. Although these are not emergency calls, youll also need to be prepared to deal with emotional, distressing or life-threatening scenarios and to arrange for 999 services if required. You will receive full support from your team and managers.
