This role is pivotal in providing an interface between the patient, surgeons and other inpatient departments & services. The candidate will provide administrative support to the Waiting List Coordinators and will be a point of contact for the patients. Post name: Administrative Support Assistant - Waiting List Office Band: 2 Number of hours per week: 37.5 Working days: Monday to Friday Working hours per day: 09:00am - 17:00pm Site: RLI You will have daily contact via the telephone with patients, other departments within the Trust and external agencies You will support the management team and care groups to ensure performance standards are met. Candidates must have the ability to work in a demanding, ever changing and fast paced environment Candidates must have empathy when dealing with complex and sensitive information daily. Candidates must have the ability to work co-operatively in a team and adapt to change as required. Patient confidentiality and excellent customer care skills are essential. A high level of computer skills are essential and the post holder will be required to work on the Microsoft program Excel daily.
