Our Pharmacy is a friendly, progressive department where clinical services are led by our Consultant Pharmacists and provided in a supportive team environment. Our team is a respected integral part of the wider multidisciplinary team where pharmacists are aided by a team of medicines optimisation technicians and assistants. Applicants should have a post-graduate qualification in clinical pharmacy (or equivalent experience), and significant experience of clinical pharmacy. Provision of expert clinical pharmacy services in accordance with Trust requirements to in-patients, including: personal delivery of expert clinical pharmacy, provision of expert advice at a policy and individual patient care level, provision of leadership, clinical supervision and mentorship to other pharmacists, technicians and assistants, provision of pharmaceutical advice to divisional teams To lead, organise, manage and develop services provided by the team To work closely with the Deputy Chief Pharmacist and Chief Technician to ensure optimal team performance, staff distribution and service delivery. Work with the other Lead and Consultant Pharmacists to ensure there is expert pharmacy support for all specialities. Provision of specialist training Leads and develops audit for the areas of responsibility, participates in clinical trials and practice research.
