The post is to cover Monday, Tuesday and Friday 9am to 5pm, with the opportunity for further hours to cover holidays. Huntington House is situated near Monks Cross Retail Park on the outskirts of York, and benefits from free on-site parking as well as being on the major bus routes. Previous NHS experience is not essential. You must have the Right to Work in the UK in order to be successfully appointed to this role. Please note, this role does not meet the required eligibility criteria for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker visa and therefore the Trust is unable to offer sponsorship for this particular role. We are looking for a friendly, customer-focussed Receptionist to join a small front-of-house team. Reception duties include greeting service users, carers, staff and visitors and answering queries via telephone and email. The ability to remain calm and communicate clearly is essential as well as promoting a positive culture for adults living with mental health issues and/or learning disabilities. The successful candidate will be expected to perform basic admin tasks, update clinic lists, maintain visitor logs, issue access cards, deal with incoming & outgoing post, photocopying and ensure that all information in the reception area for staff and public is clearly displayed and updated as appropriate.
