What to expect
First, we'll enable your camera & microphone and then ask you to record a short introduction about yourself, about 30 seconds long, to make sure your camera is working ok.

1. Can you tell us about your previous experience in a care or hospital environment?
2. What interests you about working as a Nursing Assistant in a Care of the Elderly Ward?
3. Have you ever worked directly with patients who have specific nutritional needs? If so, please describe that experience.
4. What do you understand by the term "nutritional support"? How do you think it impacts patient care?
5. How would you approach assisting a patient who is reluctant to eat or drink?
6. Can you give an example of how you've managed a situation where a patient had specific dietary restrictions or preferences?
7. What strategies would you utilise to ensure that you are effectively monitoring and recording patients' nutritional intake?
8. How do you ensure effective communication with colleagues and other healthcare professionals in a busy ward environment?
9. Describe a situation where you had to work as part of a team. What was your role, and what was the outcome?
10. How do you handle conflict or misunderstandings with team members or patients?
11. Tell us about a time when you provided exceptional care to a patient. What did you do, and what was the outcome?
12. Why do you think it is important to promote nutrition for elderly patients specifically?
13. How do you maintain a positive and caring attitude, especially during challenging situations?
14. This role may require you to work flexibly. How do you manage your time and workload in such an environment?
15. Can you give an example of a time when you had to adapt quickly to changes in a work environment? What did you learn from that experience?
16. Are you familiar with the Malnutrition Universal Screening Tool (MUST)? If so, can you describe how you would use it in your role?
17. How do you ensure that you are adhering to patient confidentiality and maintaining high standards of care?
18. What would you say are the most important qualities for a Nursing Assistant in a nutritional support role?
