The successful candidate will be proficient at typing with a good awareness of medical terminology. They will be enthusiastic about challenges of a busy working and constantly changing environment, with the ability to remain calm under pressure and to achieve strict deadlines. They will be highly motivated, with the ability to motivate and influence others, suggest and implement ideas to improve service performance and efficiency and will have excellent communication skills. Working as part of a multi professional team your main objectives will be to work closely with the central booking services and Team Leaders providing expertise in the proactive management of patient pathways. You will be responsible for the day to day duties of the MSK & CATS Service outpatient services as well as clinic preparation duties, ensuring effective management of referrals and appointments, monitoring & answering patient phone calls. The post will be based at the Doncaster Royal Infirmary site, with an expectation to occasionally travel to Retford Hospital and Bassetlaw Hospital, to ensure service coverage across all sites .
