EPUT is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and passionate Consultant Psychiatrist to join the Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment team (East) based at Rochford Community Hospital, Rochford. The team provides appropriate alternative to hospital admission for working age and older adults with severe mental illness (e.g. Schizophrenia, manic depressive disorders, severe depressive disorder) with an acute psychiatric crisis of such severity that, without the involvement of a crisis resolution home treatment team, hospitalisation would be necessary. The team operates 7 days a week service from 08.00 - 20.00 and provides on call service for all patients on the caseloads. You must have full GMC registration and be on the Specialist Register, with an appropriate CCT or equivalent or be within six months of obtaining your CCT on the date of the AAC.
