To greet and reassure patients on arrival and give them clear instructions ensuring a patient centred service is maintained at all times. Supporting Clinical Colleagues in Organising the daily running of the outpatient clinics, inpatient lists and maintaining patient flow through the department, whilst keeping patients informed of any delays. To liaise with clinical staff to ensure smooth running of clinics and theatre lists, and to develop good working practices and relationships with the team. Whilst arranging admission dates using knowledge of operating list capacity, plan operating list using specialist knowledge around Cancer Waiting Times and escalating any risk to meeting the waiting time targets. To arrange over the telephone appointments and admissions for patients. Ensure that patients receive all the relevant documentation pertaining to their admissions and appointments. We are seeking to a recruit a Booking Co-ordinator to the Montgomery Unit. Who will manage and co-ordinate the out-patient and in-patient pathways from referral to admission.
