The successful candidate will ensure adequate administrative support is provided within the administration function of the Consultant Teams. This post offers an excellent training opportunity for anyone wishing to progress to Service Manager or pursue a career in administrative management. The post is based at York Teaching Hospital; however, it may be necessary to occasionally work within other Trust sites. We look forward to receiving your application! Tasks will include, but not limited to; admin support, staff management, ensuring RTT and cancer pathways are maintained, co-ordination of Consultant timetables and Consultant leave applications as well as clinics, theatre lists ensuring effective use of clinical sessions. You will be required to liaise regularly with Senior Managers within the Care Group as well as Consultants and will deputise for the Service Manager during periods of absence.
