This is an exciting opportunity to drive forward the national patient experience and engagement agenda to improve the way that women experience care with maternity services. The post holder will also support implementation of actions identified in local, regional and national reports which highlight the importance and value of women being directly involved in care provided, both on an individual level and from a wider service perspective. The post holder will also establish and lead a Birth Reflections service to allow women to reflect on their pregnancy journey and birth experience as well as answer any questions that they may have. The post holder will be a highly motivated and experienced midwife who will develop a patient experience service that involves listening to women's experience of care via the birth reflections service, feedback from Maternity Voices Partnership, the Picker survey and Friends and Family Test. The post holder will share this feedback across the organisation and use the feedback to co-develop services the deliver an improved patient experience.
