The department has approximately 115,000 attendances annually and the hospital provides Acute Stroke and Vascular services for the county. The department has a 9 bedded resuscitation area, a First Intervention Team area, a dedicated paediatric department within the ED, Minor Injury service run by a team of Emergency Nurse Practitioners and a Urgent care centre. We are seeking enthusiastic, highly motivated nurses to join the team at Northampton General. You must have excellent communication skills and demonstrate a keen interest in Emergency Care, as well as the desire to develop your knowledge and skills within this area. The department offers a wide range of education and development opportunities for the right person and excellent support from a mentor and senior nursing team.
