Following an investment for safer staffing, Meadowbrook unit are investing in two clinical leads to cover two wards each to provide clinical leadership, work alongside the MDT with complex cases and support the ward manager in the development of wellbeing of staff. Meadowbrook is a 67 bedded unit on the site of Salford Royal Hospital for adults of working age that has 2x male acute wards, 1x female acute ward and 1x male psychiatric intensive care unit. It is a dynamic and fast paced environment that offers a challenge, with a high level of support. You will ensure staff commitment evidence-based practice and ensure the delivery of a quality service . You will have the necessary skills to lead, support colleagues, and be visible and accessible to staff across all of the wards. The post holder must hold a current nursing qualification (RMN) and have demonstrable post registration experience in an acute inpatient setting. You will also have experience of designing and running QI projects and in coordinating and delivering training. The post requires excellent clinical skills in risk assessment as meaningful analysis, care planning and delivering evidence based interventions, as well as a keen interest in all aspects of acute inpatient mental health service provision.
