To assess individuals within client group, to identify and monitor their needs. To recommend rehabilitative solutions, in order to facilitate independence, and/or improve quality of life, in accordance with Departmental policies and current legislation. To develop a comprehensive and effective service by continuously evaluating service provision on a professional and administrative level, and recommend and implement improvements. To teach, liaise, and provide advice about rehabilitative and reablement principles and techniques to the management of a wide range of statutory and voluntary agencies, in order to improve services for people with physical disabilities. We have an established Occupational Therapy Team who work across several services.
