Purpose of job
- To provide a community Occupational Therapy for client group residing in LBB.
- To assess individuals within client group, to identify and monitor their needs.
- To recommend rehabilitative solutions, in order to facilitate independence, and/or improve quality of life, in accordance with Departmental policies and current legislation.
- To develop a comprehensive and effective service by continuously evaluating service provision on a professional and administrative level, and recommend and implement improvements.
- To teach, liaise, and provide advice about rehabilitative and reablement principles and techniques to the management of a wide range of statutory and voluntary agencies, in order to improve services for people with physical disabilities.
We have an established Occupational Therapy Team who work across several services. We have regular CPD sessions, opportunities to supervise students, great training opportunities and an excellent supervision structure.
We have a number of exciting opportunities for Occupational Therapists to work in ourReablement team, Moving and Handling team and Integrated Triage hub.
