Job Responsibilities As a Domiciliary Care Worker, you will play a crucial role in supporting our clients with their daily activities and ensuring their well-being. Your responsibilities will include: Personal Care: Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, and other personal hygiene tasks. Mobility Support: Helping clients with mobility and transfers, using aids as necessary. Medication Management: Administering medications as prescribed and maintaining accurate records. Meal Preparation: Planning and preparing nutritious meals, taking into account any dietary restrictions. Household Tasks: Performing light housekeeping duties such as cleaning, laundry, and shopping. Companionship: Providing emotional support and companionship, engaging in activities that promote mental and physical well-being. Health Monitoring: Observing and reporting any changes in clients health and behaviour to appropriate healthcare professionals. Documentation: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of care provided and client progress. Requirements Experience: Previous experience as a Domiciliary Care Worker or in a similar role is preferred but not required. Training will be provided. Qualifications: A relevant certification in health and social care is a plus. Skills: Strong communication skills, empathy, patience, and a caring nature.
