Chef Band 3 Bank Worker Position The Catering Services Department of the Dorset County Hospital is seeking to employ a qualified Chef to join our team in providing a service to Patients, Staff and Visitors within the Trust. This is a bank position. Early starts at 06.30 until 14:00 and late finish from 11.30 - 19.30, or 18:00 to 02:00 AM weekends and bank holidays working with enhanced pay (including Christmas & Easter) is required of the post . Therefore, applicants would need to be flexible in the hours worked. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced chef Band 3 to join the Catering Department. As part of the team you will. Maintain the procedures in place for food safety and quality for arange of different dietary requirements within the hospital. Theseinclude handling allergens, religious diets, and modified textures. Work closely with all catering personnel to assist with the running ofthe kitchen and catering department as a whole Ensure that the departments due diligence and HACCP proceduresare met for the safety of our patients, staff, and visitors. Accurately prepare and develop our dishes and seasonal menus inand amongst the chef team and pass on any ideas or feedback to themanagers.
