We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated person to support the ongoing delivery of the core consultation services, to support with early identification offering a mix of consultation, formulation, supervision, training and time limited intervention. You will be a vital member of our small but compassionate team and can expect excellent supervision, a variety of learning opportunities and lots of support through this stage of your career journey. You will be supporting and enhancing the professional psychological care of clients within the service; providing psychological assessment and psychological interventions (individual and group work) under the supervision of a qualified professional psychologist. Assistant Psychologists are highly regarded in our department. In this post you will support clinical psychologists to complete assessments and interventions with a range of clients, staff and carers. You will liaise with formal and informal carers and work with multi-disciplinary colleagues to assess and support the psychological well being of people with intellectual disabilities. You will also assist the Head of Department with case reviews, audit and service evaluation. A full UK driving licence and vehicle for business use is required for this post; however reasonable adjustments will be made for disabled individuals in line with the Equality Act 2010. #TeamNottsHC comprises over 11,000 dedicated colleagues who #MakeADifference every day.
