We are seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Psychologist to join the Psychology Team working at HMP Ranby.We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated person to support the ongoing delivery of the core consultation services, to support with early identification offering a mix of consultation, formulation, supervision, training and time limited intervention.
You will be a vital member of our small but compassionate team and can expect excellent supervision, a variety of learning opportunities and lots of support through this stage of your career journey.
You will be supporting and enhancing the professional psychological care of clients within the service; providing psychological assessment and psychological interventions (individual and group work) under the supervision of a qualified professional psychologist.
Assistant Psychologists are highly regarded in our department. In this post you will support clinical psychologists to complete assessments and interventions with a range of clients, staff and carers. You will liaise with formal and informal carers and work with multi-disciplinary colleagues to assess and support the psychological well being of people with intellectual disabilities. You will also assist the Head of Department with case reviews, audit and service evaluation.
A full UK driving licence and vehicle for business use is required for this post; however reasonable adjustments will be made for disabled individuals in line with the Equality Act 2.
