The Role You will be planning and delivering engaging fun and developmental activity sessions to adults with complex needs. Plan activities and sessions youd be involved with which could be; cooking, arts/games/ music and other activities club within the leisure and skills centre. Prepare workspaces and equipment in advance of session start times, as well as ensuring workspace is kept tidy at all times. Implement and comply with health and safety procedures, in relation to the equipment used and activities undertaken. Maintain cooking equipment to a high standard and arrange repair / replacement of items. Work in accordance with food hygiene regulations and mandatory training Complete all admin duties associated with the role Prepare information/data required by senior managers for reports/papers Provide different forms in different formats (email, written, verbal) Document and celebrate achievements and activities completed by individuals accessing sessions Evaluate event/activity feedback to assess effectiveness/opportunities for improvement Essential Skills and Qualifications Previous experience planning and running activities GCSE Grade C or above, or equivalent, in Maths and English Food Hygiene level 2 or willingness to work towards First Aid qualification or willingness to work towards Able to support children and young adults to participate in a range of activities. Highly organised, and able to multi-task.
