Within our mental health services we have wards caring for anyone requiring inpatient care, providing wonderful opportunities and facilities for patients as well as having Section 136 suites in two site across the county to provide a place of safety which the police can bring people to. Patients admitted to the ward may be experiencing acute distress and present with a significant deterioration in mental state, risk of self-harm, self-neglect, or harm to others. we support patients that may be admitted informally or detained under a section of the mental health act. Patients may need intensive assessment and immediate intervention. We aim to provide a holistic approach to recovery and rehabilitation within a safe environment. we value positive risk taking to enable clients to move forward with their lives and promote recovery. We aim to provide person-centered care in every aspect of our role and promote patient involvement in their care and treatment plans. We aim to provide this service by respecting the privacy, choices, and confidentiality of each individual service user, respecting their cultural, religious, and sexual preferences. the service is committed to being accessible, non-discriminatory, equitable, warm, and friendly. We aim to achieve an individual service user's potential in a collaborative relationship, by addressing concerns raised by the service user by supporting, empowering, and encouraging them to take control of their lives.
