I have PSTD and my health continues to be poor with pockets of anxiety and extreme low moods. I need support with regular administration of medication. I mobilise independently but due to my pain and physical health conditions, I have great difficulty using stairs. I am slow and can become out of breath very easily and can only stand for no longer than 15 mins without a break and breath recovery is a struggle. This makes domestic tasks and cooking meals difficult and sometimes not possible. It is important for me to have continuity of regular and reliable support from Personal assistant. Hours/Rate of pay Location: Loftus Rate of pay £11.44. Total weekly hours 21.15 Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check will be required. Daily times 45minutes - Morning 15 minutes -Lunch (Meds only 1 hour 30 minutes - Teatime 15 minutes -Bed time Weekly 1 hour social What would you be doing Maintain a daily routine for the administration and supervision of Medication. Support with personal care in a dignified manner. Meal preparation and cooking for Client & daughter. Support with everyday chores, laundry and maintaining the domestic environment. Establish a close working relationship on a one-to-one basis. As a Personal Assistant, you will work under direction to meet the needs and will be accountable in all aspects of your work. You must be reliable, be able to use your initiative and be flexible. You must also be able to respect privacy and understand the need for confidentiality in all areas of your work. The person I would like Be hardworking, reliable, committed, honest, and trustworthy with cheerful sense of humour. You should have a genuine interest in the provision of high-quality care, be able to work flexible hours and be a good communicator and possess the motivation to develop trust and understanding with me and my family.
