Energy, enthusiasm and drive is required to work in this service, which holds clinics covering cardiology, chemical pathology, diabetics, endocrinology, elderly medicine, ENT, general medicine, general surgery, haematology, orthopaedics, plastics, respiratory, rheumatology to name but a few. We have interaction from a wide multidisciplinary team including specialist nurses and advanced practitioners, so the opportunities to develop your skills are endless. We pride ourselves in offering a high standard of care with an individualised patient approach . We are always striving to improve the way we work and seek out feedback from service users to help shape our service improvements. To succeed, you’ll need to be committed in delivering high quality, patient focused care with pride and respect. You must have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to provide evidence of personal and professional development. Applicants must possess a proven clinical and managerial career history at Band 5 or 6 and demonstrate a commitment to effective leadership. An experience in an outpatient environment is desirable as is a commitment to outpatient service development. The role will be based in the MRI Main Outpatients Department. Clinics run five days a week. Occasionally, staff members are required to support other departments within the directorate. Core working hours are between 08:00 - 18: 00 Monday to Friday.
