An exciting Band 6 nursing opportunity has arisen in the MRI Main Outpatient Department which offers an extensive range of outpatient services to patients throughout the Greater Manchester area and beyond. Energy, enthusiasm and drive is required to work in this service, which holds clinics covering cardiology, chemical pathology, diabetics, endocrinology, elderly medicine, ENT, general medicine, general surgery, haematology, orthopaedics, plastics, respiratory, rheumatology to name but a few. We have interaction from a wide multidisciplinary team including specialist nurses and advanced practitioners, so the opportunities to develop your skills are endless.

To succeed, you’ll need to be committed in delivering high quality, patient focused care with pride and respect. You must have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to provide evidence of personal and professional development.

Clinics run five days a week. Occasionally, staff members are required to support other departments within the directorate. Core working hours are between 08:00 - 18: 00 Monday to Friday.
