It supports a busy, high risk obstetric Maternity unit. We do provide high dependency care and stabilise infants requiring intensive care, prior to transfer. SCBU has an established innovative staffing model with an Advanced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (ANNP) delivered service, on site . For over twenty years our existing ANNPs have had clinical responsibility and leadership of the neonatal unit with support for the Consultant Paediatricians We have a range of shifts 7 days per week including day shifts, early shifts , late shifts , twilight, nights and weekends.
