Main duties of the job The applicant must have experience in the management of minor illness/injury and is undertaking a qualification at Level 7 such as the APACs course (Advanced, Physical and Consultation Skills module) or minor illness course. Experience of chronic disease management is also desirable for this post. The Practitioner will be part of the Acute Care Team that will assess patients for urgent care on the day which may take the form of seeing patients face to face or by video consultation. The applicant must already have/ currently undertaking the non-medical prescribing training.
