Our Children's and Adolescent Mental Health Team in Taunton are looking for a Team Secretary to work within our small team of administrators helping to ensure the smooth running of a CAMHS service which covers the West of the county of Somerset. The role is office based and we are looking for someone to work 30 hours per week. The CAMHS West team sees children and young people where there are concerns about their emotional, psychological wellbeing or mental health. The team consists of a range of professional disciplines. Your role will be to provide valuable secretarial and reception support to the team, enabling the service to run smoothly and continue to support young people and their families effectively. This will include arranging appointments, filing, minute taking, supporting the receptionist and other typical administrative/medical secretary tasks such as making contact with GP surgeries or other medical professionals, prescription related administrative tasks. Key tasks: Deal with day-to-day correspondence, initiating appropriate responses to provide patients, staff and other parties with required information in a friendly and professional manner. Liaise with appropriate personnel in the team to gather and co-ordinate patient information. Arrange appropriate outpatient appointments. Participate in team and Trust meetings as requested. "}
