Working as part of a highly effective and professional clerical and administrative team, the role involves support for a wide range of health professionals and patients. The post holder will need to use their own initiative to book patients into relevant outpatient clinics for initial and follow up appointments. The post involves the use of multiple electronic systems, as well as the in-house data bases. Registering referrals received electronically and via post, operating a variety of booking systems for various specialties across the Trust. This will include electronic referrals, telephone queries from patients wanting to book, change or cancel appointments and dealing with patients face to face on a reception desk.
