The Hub is located at 63 Carlton Place, on the south bank of the River Clyde. We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and self-motivated Service Development Co-Ordinator with strong values which are focused to the people we support. You must have excellent communication, IT and written skills as well as a high level of interpersonal skills with the ability to engage at all levels. You will be expected to manage your own workload with ongoing support / supervision. An in-depth understanding and knowledge of the harmful effects associated with substance misuse in relation to health, social welfare, housing, employability and relationships is essential. In addition, an understanding/awareness of current national policies on substance misuse and the local strategies that influence the priorities of recovery services is desirable. The Main Duties Of This Role Include Partnership working with external agencies and recovery networks, attending recovery cafes, co facilitation with external agencies in developing recovery supports in the community. Collecting/Analysing data on service delivery in relation to co-production/stakeholders to enhance the development of the service for the people we support. Working alongside the recovery facilitator in co-ordinating/facilitating the service programme of Recovery/therapeutic groups. To ensure that the provision’s key elements (assessment, recovery support, delivery of psychosocial interventions and treatment exit planning) are integrated and delivered to a high standard. To lead in the development of Peer Monitoring/co-production, as well as providing supervision / development opportunities to lived experience volunteers. To provide a range of effective and evidence-based interventions to support individuals’ goals, focused on achieving sustainable recovery. To work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary approach to ensure interventions and support motivates service users and meets their needs through all stages of their individual recovery journey. To work within an assets-based, recovery-orientated, change and outcomes focused approach which promotes service users and communities as responsible co-producers of health, well-being and recovery. Representing The Mungo Foundation, in the absence of the manager at meetings out-with the organisation. Mainly day shifts are required with some evening and weekend work as part of a rota and is essential to delivering a person-centred service. If successful and unqualified, you must be willing to work towards an SVQ4 for the Role. Previous experience of supporting people in addiction is essential. We value our staff very highly.
