Physical Fitness: Must be fit and healthy enough to walk 2-6 miles with service users as part of support activities. Key Responsibilities: Provide compassionate care and support to individuals with varying needs. Assist with personal care tasks such as dressing, bathing, and grooming. Administer medication in line with care plans and legal requirements. Promote independence and encourage participation in day-to-day activities. Accompany service users on walks, which may range from 2 to 6 miles, and support them in outdoor activities. Support individuals in managing challenging behaviours through de-escalation techniques (PMVA or MAPA). Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of care provided. Work closely with healthcare professionals and families to ensure the best possible care for service users. Adhere to safeguarding and health & safety policies at all times.
