A rare opportunity has arisen for a full-time Assistant Psychologist within the Buckinghamshire Primary Care Mental Health Hubs (PCMH hubs). The Bucks PCMH hubs have been designed to bridge the gap between primary and secondary mental health services. The hubs are staffed by an interdisciplinary team of colleagues from across mental health services, voluntary and community sectors. A range of different interventions are provided by the service. As an Assistant Psychologist within the PCMH hubs you will play a key role in providing holistic, trauma-informed care to people with serious mental health conditions. You must be organised, self-motivated and have excellent interpersonal skills. The team covers Buckinghamshire (excluding Milton Keynes), so you will need to be able to travel for work purposes. Please be aware that this advert will close early if a high number of applications are received and you are advised to make an early application** As An Assistant Psychologist You will be responsible for collecting and reporting outcome data, and for managing Excel spreadsheets and other databases - therefore, you must have excellent Excel and database skills. You will be responsible for carrying out triage and assessments, under the supervision of qualified staff. You will be responsible for carrying out guided-self help and psychoeducation interventions, under the supervision of qualified staff. You will be responsible for co-facilitating psychological therapy groups together with qualified staff, as well as evaluating and auditing these You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the design of resources and training, as well as service improvement projects.
