We are an enthusiastic, committed and developing psychological team within the Perinatal service. We have developed good supervision structures to ensure best practices with access to peer supervision, and access to supervision in ACT, IPT, VIG, CAT and EMDR as well as an established DBT consult. We are an enthusiastic team of psychologist with a drive to ensure that psychological approaches are at the heart of the service through formulation, joint working, individual and group interventions in addition through delivering supervision and consultation to perinatal practitioners. To undertake complex assessments and consultancy, providing expert advice to perinatal mental health multi-professional team. To provide specialist treatment for complex cases. Plan and prioritise own clinical workload; comment and propose change to policy or service development within the area psychological service. To provide specialist supervision for trainee clinical psychologists and to provide psychological guidance and supervision for multidisciplinary clinical colleagues. Alongside Perinatal Psychology Colleagues, develop and encourage an evidence based research culture within the wider clinical team.
