Training would be supported through a competency framework.The department provides a full range of Dermatology services including nurse led services such as Topical treatments and complex wound management, Phototherapy, Patch Testing, Iontophoresis , and Photodynamic Therapy. The service also provides Dermatological surgery including Minor Operations and MOH's surgery, for the management and support of patients on cancer pathways. You will work alongside an experienced multi-professional team in providing holistic nursing care to clients with a wide range of dermatological conditions. We are looking for a nurse who is enthusiastic, motivated and most importantly demonstrates a compassionate attitude and a commitment to delivering high quality care. To deliver high quality care to patients within all areas of Dermatology Outpatients, working in line with Trust policies, objectives, protocols and local guidelines, whilst also being aware of the importance of their role in supporting members of the team and always adhering to the Trust values, and in accordance with NMC regulations. Accept delegated responsibility for specific activities/areas from the senior nurse in charge. To be able to work both autonomously, and as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver high standards of care to patients within the Dermatology Outpatients setting.
