What to expect

4. How do you handle challenging situations with clients or their families? Can you provide an example?
5. What skills do you believe are essential for assisting clients with personal care and daily living activities?
6. Can you describe a time when you had to adapt your communication style to meet the needs of a client?
7. How would you approach a situation where a client refuses assistance with personal care?
8. Imagine a client is upset or agitated during a visit. How would you handle that situation?
9. How do you build rapport with clients, and why is that important in this role?
10. Have you ever worked as part of a team in a care setting? How did you ensure effective communication with your colleagues?
11. What does providing ‘care and companionship’ mean to you?
12. Why do you think it is important for clients to maintain dignity and independence in their daily lives?
13. What type of working hours are you looking for, and are you flexible with your schedule?
14. Are you comfortable driving as part of your role?
15. How do you view training and development in your career? What are your goals in the care sector this year?
16. Are you willing to undertake additional training if necessary, such as for special care needs or health regulations?
17. Do you have any questions for us about the role, the team, or the organisation?
