The role supports NHS England in driving transformation as well as ensuring value for money in planning, commissioning and service delivery by ICBs. The role is designed to build a combination of subject matter expertise, and technical skills to develop a strong service delivery. The post holder will be an expert in NHS CHC and associated policies and will be able to communicate clearly and knowledgeably at a high level. Staff recruited from outside the NHS will usually be appointed at the bottom of the pay band.
