Our school is a 52-week residential provision which also provides day-student placements. Staff are highly experienced and trained in supporting young people with communication challenges and sensory needs, learning difficulties such as dyslexia and dyspraxia, and mood barriers including depression, anxiety, ADHD, OCD and Tourette's syndrome. Cambian Bletchley Park School is an independent specialist school, offering 38-week day placements for students aged 7-19 years with Autism Spectrum Disorder, communication difficulties, challenging behaviour and related conditions or diagnoses. Job Role As a Consultant Speech and Language Therapist, you will work with a range of individuals tomaximisetheir potential and to enable them to enjoy the best possible quality of life. You will respond to referrals and be responsible for ensuring an inclusive communication environment is maintained, audits are completed and the RCSLT 5 good communication standards areutilised. A key aspect of your role will be to work effectively as part of the companywide SLT team and contribute to service development. About You The successful candidate for this role will have a degree or a postgraduate diploma in Speech and Language Therapy (or equivalent) and be registered with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC). You will have experience working with individuals that have Learning Disabilities and/or Autism Spectrum Disorders andpreferablyhave worked with AAC approaches.
