As the Diabetes Midwifery Team Leader, you will: Coordinate and lead care delivery for women with pre-existing and gestational diabetes, ensuring personalised and safe care plans. Manage the diabetes team to deliver on national, regional, and local priorities for diabetes prevention and management. Collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary team to support positive pregnancy outcomes. Lead face-to-face clinics, manage a caseload, and provide education to both staff and patients. Navigate care pathways, plan for pregnancy, labour, and birth, and present at MDT meetings. Utilise technology to support virtual and in-person care settings. Audit service performance and maintain the diabetes database to ensure continuous quality improvement.
