Honeysuckle Lodge is a 14- bedded all-female High Dependency Rehabilitation Unit based at the Royal Bolton Hospital site. Honeysuckle Lodge is a recovery focused service that supports individuals experiencing severe and complex mental health problems, many of whom present with significant and complex trauma histories. The staff team at Honeysuckle Lodge are very receptive to and supportive of psychological approaches. The post will include direct 1:1 and group work with service users, but also substantial amounts of team formulation work, completion of risk assessments, provision of support and supervision of staff, service development work, work with carers, and collaboration and consultation with other members of the multi-disciplinary team. The postholder will also be responsible for the supervision of an Assistant Psychologist.A creative approach to engagement and a focus on recovery will be an essential part of the role.
