We are a very family orientated unit, supporting each other as the need arises. Our shifts are 7:30-18:00, 3 days a week with a short day of 7:30-15:30, but are happy to discuss other shift options, to fit around child care. We are able to offer a full and varied Ophthalmic Outpatient service. We have a variety of Nurse led clinics as well as offering Diagnostics and support to out Consultants, Fellows and allied Professionals within the department. We are now looking to grow that service, with addition Clinician clinics and potentially more Nurse led clinics. We want you to love coming to work, feeling healthy, happy and valued, and as a hospital offer support for your mental wellbeing in a variety of ways. Instinctively meet the needs of patients and their families, offering comfort and reassurance. Run visual acuity and eye pressure checks. Assist with Pre assessment, ECG's, Blood pressure checks.
