Have you completed (or about to complete) your EMHP training? Then Leeds is the place for you! This is an exciting opportunity to work within the MindMate Support Team (MHST) based in the City of Leeds. We currently have various EMHP posts available across the city due to lots of internal promotions as our service grows! You will be employed as a Band 5 Education Mental Health Practitioner, working with colleagues across the city of Leeds, with education settings and health professionals to offer Mental Health and wellbeing support to young people and their families. These posts involve working directly with all education settings providing information, advice and guidance through consultation, training, direct work with children and young people and their families and delivering evidence based interventions. We will require successful applicants to be registered (or going through the process) with either the BPS or BABCP as you will be working within a NHS commissioned service. You will work within Leeds Community Health Care NHS Trust and provide a range of assessment and other interventions with individuals and wider systems under close clinical supervision from our experienced staff. The post-holder will be able to deliver a range of 1:1 and group Low Intensity CBT based interventions for children, young people, and parents/carers. In addition to this the post holder will be expected to input and work to deliver a whole setting approach within educational settings developing excellent professional working relationships along the way. The MindMate Support Team holds a strong culture around wellbeing and work life balance and supports a hybrid model of working.
