We are looking for an experienced registered nurse with a genuine interest in cardiology, leadership and management. Experience as a senior band 5 within a level 2/3 cardiac care unit is essential. The role will encompass a significant level of clinical support and advice to the patients, relatives, nursing staff and members of the multi-disciplinary team. The post holder will be expected to provide training and education for both pre and post registered nursing staff. Encompassed in the role will be the promotion of evidence based practise, quality care, participating in research and the audit process. The candidate needs to be able to show support for Ward Manager and Trust objectives through leadership skills and effective communication. The ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.
