To be actively involved in the care of all patients within GI Surgery2. Within agreed protocols, Utilise the clerking protocol to take a full medical history of patients admitted within a specific specialty.3. Please see below for detailed job description of the role. Within General Surgery we are delighted to provide the opportunity for you to join our GI Surgical Nurse Practitioner team. This is a 9-month secondment. The role will predominately be based in Colorectal with some exposure in Upper GI and HPB surgery. You will be working within the ANP/ACP team alongside our medical teams, MDT, and surgical ward teams. All applicants must have recent acute care experience either in a surgical or critical care role. The team are pivotal in supporting the patient journey in order to increase patient experience, reduce length of stay and avoid hospital re admission, whilst seeking innovative ways to support our most complex patients. You may be required to support the wider nurse practitioner team which may include working within other surgical specialities such as acute surgery. "}
