In this role you will be responsible for training the primary and healthcare workforce in essential life-saving techniques. This will involve leading, organising, and scheduling training sessions, assessing competency, and updating training materials in accordance with relevant guidelines. As part of the role, you will also both deliver existing courses and develop new courses relating to Life Support & First Aid, generate leads, and deliver courses across the UK as and when needed. You will work as part of a training team based within general practice and draw upon the knowledge and skills of your colleagues to develop and deliver exception learning. Additionally, as part of this role you will be required to analyse feedback, implement improvements, and provide reports on the impact and evaluation of the training that you deliver. This role is for a dynamic and experienced trainer who is passionate about educating others in life-saving techniques and committed to maintaining high standards in training delivery. You must work at all times within your own competence and use your own judgement, knowledge and common sense in your day-to-day activities. About us Teaching/Training Responsibilities: Conduct Life Support Courses (BLS & ILS) and First Aid training sessions for both clinical and non-clinical staff. Lead and manage the Life Support and First Aid courses, ensuring high-quality delivery. Plan and schedule training sessions efficiently. Evaluate participants' skills and knowledge to ensure competency against relevant bodies. Regularly update training materials to align with current standards and guidelines. Develop new courses related to Life Support & First Aid, and peripheral topics. Identify and generate leads for training opportunities. Travel across the UK to deliver training sessions as required. Monitoring and evaluating training programmes effectiveness, success and return on investment and reporting on them. Identifying and assessing future and current training opportunities and needs. Developing and maintaining key links between Haxby Group Training and other stakeholders such as educational establishments or organisations; NHS organisational bodies; non-NHS establishments; other practices; actual and potential business clients; and other providers.
