We have an administration role working for Sarum Community Mental Health Team, based at Fountain Way in Salisbury. Due to the high volume of work, you will need to have a degree of resilience and be able to work well under pressure, though full support is given by AWP through peer support, regular formal supervision and access to the Employee Assist Programme. Ideally you will have previous clerical and administrative experience and have a good working knowledge of all Microsoft Office packages, although we can provide training and support for any areas of the role that you need. You will need to have empathy and compassion for people who experience mental health issues. Working in Mental Health can be very rewarding, as Service User's care is at the heart of our work. If you are someone who is able to work well under pressure, while remaining calm in challenging situations, who has a friendly, positive nature and enjoys working in a supportive team, we would love to hear from you. This role will be based at Fountain Way in Salisbury. This role is worked over 4 and a half days a week. We look forward to hearing from you. To provide comprehensive administrative support to the staff within Sarum Community Mental Health Team, including the consultants. You will have a good working knowledge of all Microsoft Office packages and be willing to undertake training in order to use other software packages, including our electronic patient record system (RiO). You will be a first point of contact and duties will include dealing with telephone enquiries and liaising with other Clinical Teams, Third Sector Health Care Providers and Outside Agencies. You will be managing appointment diaries for consultants. Sending out appointments and booking/rescheduling as required. You will be required to order supplies and stationery items. This will include using NHS supplies and non-stock ordering. You will be required to type letters, produce documents, reports and agendas, this includes taking minutes at a variety of meetings. Note taking training can be provided by AWP. The role is varied, and requires the successful candidate to be able to adapt to constant changes in workload. About us Liaise with a wide range of stakeholders, both internal to the organisation and external, including: Medical Staff. Multidisciplinary Teams (Community or Inpatient) Services Users and Carers. Health and Social Care teams. Third sector/voluntary agencies. Community groups and local authority provision. Other statutory agencies e.g. Police, Ministry of Justice etc. Taking accurate messages and passing them on in a timely manner. Uploading and recording information on RiO (Patient Electronic file). Typing clinical letters and posting them, ensuring a copy is upload to RiO. Taking minutes of various meetings. Making appointments and sending letters and texts to service users Ordering supplies, including non-stock orders. And any other general administrative task. "}
