Act as an expert clinical resource coordinating learning and development of anaesthetic and recovery skills for the cath lab nursing team. Work as part of the multi-disciplinary clinical team in the delivery of care for patients undergoing cardiovascular interventional procedures in the cath labs. Perform comprehensive assessment of patient nursing needs, plan, implement and evaluate care delivery according to changing health care needs and varying levels of complexity Collect, collate, evaluate and report information maintaining accurate patient records Provide sedation to EP/Pacing patient's - Training provided Work collaboratively with other professionals and agencies to ensure patient needs are met provide skilled assistance to the operator and anaesthetist during cardiovascular interventional procedures Establish and maintain effective communication with patients and carers/relatives Recognise and respond appropriately to urgent and emergency situations, participating in out of hours emergency procedures.
