The site offers a range of healthcare services including Physical Health, Mental Health, Pharmacy and Substance Misuse. The 9-bed specialist Intermediate Care & Reablement Service is opened in early 2022 based at HMP Moorland. Hours This is a full time role, working 37.5 hours per week, usually Monday to Friday. Salary Youll receive an annual salary up to £28,690 per annum depending on experience How will we support you? Bespoke induction, including our Introducing Health in Justice training course Competency framework Regional and national career development opportunities Our bespoke Learning Management System to address your learning needs Support from the wider team Candidates are required to have a Legal right to work in the UK and due to the nature of the role, offers of employment will be subject to additional vetting and security checks As our new Occupational & Physiotherapist Assistant, your responsibilities will vary. Some of your duties will include: Being involved in the implementation of treatment programmes and environmental assessments under the delegated authority of the Occupational Physiotherapist, including the demonstration and fitting of disability equipment for patients Provide a range of therapy and treatment interventions that aid patients to fulfil their daily activities and supervise and support social care support workers to develop and deliver care. Support the social care team in implementing agreed care plans, in association with the patient and in accordance with instructions and training received, whilst promoting safe patient well-being .
