Penallta ward 3/2 is a twenty-eight bedded single room environment. We pride ourselves in providing excellent standards of nursing care to our patients with acute medical conditions, who require acute medical intervention. The required treatment being provided, along with a period of rehabilitation and complex discharge planning. Also, we provide dedicated care to those patients who require specialist palliative care input and end of life care. We know that our success depends on the commitment and dedication of our staff and we aim to recruit and retain the best staff possible. We know that feeling valued at work has a positive impact on both staff and patients and our values and behaviours framework highlight our commitment to this. Successful Applicants will need to be motivated, enthusiastic and reliable with a passion for providing high quality patient care. Along with an interest in acute medical care and specialist palliative care nursing. We care for our patients 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and can consider several working patterns to support work life balance of our staff.
