Promoting across both Trust Board, dealing with all strategic procurement issues with a view to maximising the savings potential across the patch with more efficient and effective purchasing arrangements with a contribution to both Trusts' non-pay expenditure. Supports the Sustainable Procurement Manager for the management of the Logistics Team including Stock Control, Theatre team, and Receipt and Distribution, ensuring that all personnel are performing efficiently and effectively ensuring that all procedures are followed in line with the Standing Financial Instruction/Standing Orders. Leads and manages the Logistics Section in focussing strategic effort towards reducing Health & Safety risk by developing robust procedures and supporting Receipt & Distribution staff in formal adoption of the new working methodologies.
