We are seeking a committed full-time Patient Coordinator to join our wonderful Reception Team (37.5 hours per week). Our Patient Coordinators require excellent communication, time management and IT skills, along with the ability to adapt their approach to meet the individual needs of our patients. The team jointly handle between 300-450 incoming phone calls per day, along with all walk-in enquiries. Call handling is a key element of the role, and as such would suit candidates with experience in a call centre environment. provide a high standard of service to assist patients in accessing the appropriate service or healthcare professional within the Practice. work as a member of the Reception Team to ensure the smooth running of Reception, whilst taking a proactive role in maintaining an efficient and effective service to all patients. act as a central point of communication and liaison with other members of the Practice team. ensure administrative and clerical duties within the Practice are carried out in line with Practice guidelines and policies. work closely, and under the direction of the Management Team to improve standards across a wide range of administrative activities. The ideal candidate will have experience of dealing with the public at all levels. A positive attitude and can-do approach are essential to ensure patients receive the best possible care. Candidates will be required to work a variety of shift patterns throughout the week (including evenings) to meet the needs of the modern NHS. Flexibility to cover holidays and sickness are essential.
